Here's how Meta-Agent works for your Shopware 6 store

Meta-Agent generates SEO-optimized meta titles and meta descriptions for your store's content—automatically using AI and based on the context of each product or category. Here, you'll learn how to enable it, review the results, and regenerate individual entries if needed.

Here's what you should keep in mind after activation

Check Meta Tags in Google – performs random checks of product and category pages in foreign languages after the initial population.

Do not edit directly in Shopware – You can manage the meta title and description via Reqser. In the Meta-Agent editor, you can view the values and regenerate individual entries as needed.

1. Overview

Meta-Agent analyzes your products, categories, and sales channels and generates appropriate meta titles and meta descriptions. The text is managed in Reqser and imported into your Shopware store.

1

Context-based

The AI takes into account the product name, description, manufacturer, category path, and—where available—image descriptions.

2

Multilingual

Metadata is created and maintained for the languages you have configured.

3

Verifiable

In the Meta-Agent editor, you can view the generated metadata and the context used, and you can regenerate individual entries.

2. Activation

You can activate Meta-Agent in your website’s AI settings. There, you’ll see how many entries are still missing a meta title or description and what costs may be incurred for the initial data populate.

After activation, Reqser crawls your content and generates meta data during the initial populate as well as during every subsequent run. From this point on, you manage meta titles and descriptions via Reqser—so do not edit them directly in Shopware, otherwise they may be overwritten during the next run.

If desired, Reqser can be configured for your store so that existing meta data is not overwritten during the first run.

  • Go to AI Settings → Meta-Agent to enable or disable the feature.
  • Before activation, you will receive a cost estimate for the initial setup.
  • The editor will be available as soon as the first run is complete.

3. Supported Content

Meta-Agent currently supports the following entity types in your Shopware store:

Products

Meta title and description for product pages—including context such as manufacturer, item number, and category path.

Categories

Metadata for category pages based on the category name, description, and parent path.

Sales Channels

Meta Title and Description for your sales channels—for example, for the homepage of a language store.

4. Meta-Agent Editor

In the Meta-Agent editor, you'll see your products, categories, and sales channels along with the generated meta titles and meta descriptions. The fields are displayed there—direct text editing is not supported. Instead, you can:

  • View the meta title and meta description for each entry
  • View the context used by the agent
  • Compare existing metadata from the store with the generated values
  • Regenerate individual entries using AI
  • Search and filter entries

You can access the editor via your website's settings menu at Meta-Agent. You should not edit metadata directly in Shopware—otherwise, it may be overwritten during the next run.
